Halal Restaurant Week

Abbas Mohamed is co-organizer of Halal Restaurant Week and runs the popular Facebook group, Bay Area Halal Foodies. Mohamed said the group has been steadily growing this year as people have joined looking for local halal food, especially during shelter in place. When the group reached its high of 4,000 followers in August, Mohamed said he wanted to look into helping the restaurant industry.
