What Does Damel Mean?
The name “Damel” used to be the title given to the king of the Wolof kingdom of Cayor which was located in modern-day Dakar, the capital city of Senegal, West Africa.
We consider The Damel to be a unique place in the Bay Area which presents a typical experience of Senegalese, Brazilian & Argentinian cuisine.
We have combined a restaurant and a unique catering service with dynamic event programs and quality handcrafted products.
